Looks yummie... I like alfredo, but I think I prefer to 'cut' it a bit by adding some marinara. Ya know, make it a 'pink' sauce. Probably not everyone's cup of tea.

hmmm... and this is good you say? I might have to try it sometime...
how much marinara??

Just enough to cut the heaviness of the cheese.

But it should be to taste. Take a bowl aside and experiment so you don't ruin your Alfredo in case you hate it.

Works well as a Baked Ziti alternative too... Half white & half red. :)

I'd say a nice Syrah would go well it, or even a Pinot Grigio if might do as well... or if you're not into wine, do a Pilsner with it.

I make yummy baked ziti... but even when I cut my recipe in half, it makes waaaaay too much.

I have a pinot grigio in my fridge but I'm not much of a wine drinker. I lurve the beer...

Pop the Pinot in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Then, get yourself a BIG go cup, and take that Pinot to the pool. It'll taste much better there.

Beer never seems to be, or stay, cold enough if you've got to sneak it in to the pool area.

I haven't snuck a drink to the pool in years... reminds me of my Dallas days when we used to make fun frozen drinks and head down to the pool. EVERYONE was drinking fun frozen drinks and having a great time. Those were the days... *sigh*

"Whatsa matta you?"

Unless you're doing laps at the pool, water just doesn't cut it for me. That's like going to the beach without a cooler.

Yes, fun frozen drinks, especially Margaritas, are perfect for the pool.

I still like Phil of the Future the best, but I've only seen about one episode of each of those shows now...

God help me.

Josh - Just wait until you sit down with Tracy one fine afternoon, or night, and enjoy "High School Musical" with the queer kid from WB's (now-defunct) show "Summerland."

I've been hearing about High School Musical quite a bit lately, I might mention. If Tracy wasn't going to be gone for 2 weeks (dammit) I'd think that would happen sooner than later.

I never saw that show... but was he the lead in HSM? That I did see... and he was great!!
I love musicals...

Yeah - he's the lead in HSM. Lynn is in love with that movie because she loves musicals, as well.

Yes, my wife is a full-blown Disney Channel addict. Rolie-Polie-Olie usually consumes our Saturday mornings....if I even spelled it correctly??
